COMPIE 2026 Conference

 *COunterfactual Methods for Policy Impact Evaluation

 

 24-26 June 2026

IÉSEG School of Management, Paris la Défense Campus, France 

Promenade Building

 

The conference will consist of plenary, contributed and organised sessions, and will be in-person only.

The conference is also supported by the commission recherche of Lille Catholic University and its Foundation, and the LEM (Lille Economie Management – UMR 9221)

 

CONFERENCE OBJECTIVES

The aim of COMPIE is to bring together practitioners and academics to discuss developments in the theory and the applications of counterfactual methods for policy impact evaluation. Applications can cover a broad range of interventions, from labor and social policy to regulation and funding programmes, ideally with a focus on EU policies or developing countries.

The conference will consist of plenary, contributed and organised sessions.

IMPORTANT DATES

  • Paper submissions: From 1 Jan to 28 Feb, 2026 (Link to conference maker).

  • Acceptance decision: 31 Mar, 2026. Authors of accepted papers need to register by 30 Apr, 2026 to confirm participation.

  • Registration: Between 1 Apr and 15 May, 2026.
